16.07.2025

The new Communications Manager of the German-Israeli-Programme at GOVET has many years of experience as a journalist. With her expertise, she also supports the entire GOVET team in the creation of videos and other digital content.

In March 2025, Aline Moraes Amling joined the Federal Government's Central Office for International Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training (GOVET) at BIBB. However, she is not completely new to the team. Six years ago, she completed an internship in public relations and already enriched GOVET with her expertise as a trained journalist. As a permanent member of the team, Aline brings her many years of professional experience, her eye for visual media and her Brazilian roots back to the international vocational training cooperation (iBBZ).

Aline holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), one of the most renowned universities in Latin America. She came to Germany in 2015 and worked as an European correspondent for the public broadcaster TV Brasil. Aline prepared her television reports independently, from production and writing to video recording, and reported up close about the escape of people from Syria and other endangered countries to Germany.

I strongly believe in the power of words and storytelling and I am passionate about building bridges and connecting cultures.

Aline Moraes Amling - Communications Manager of the German-Israeli Programme

Her last professional role was in the communications team of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation's student support programme in Bonn.

Among other things, she was jointly responsible for their website and the implementation and management of their new community portal. At GOVET, Aline oversees the online communication of the German-Israeli Programme and supports the entire team in video production and further digital content creation.

The Communications Manager was born and raised in the megacity São Paulo and has always lived in a colorful, diverse and intercultural society. In Bonn, Aline co-founded the Maloka Hub initiative, a network for culture, encounters and the decolonization of integration, as she believes that Germany has also a lot to learn from other countries, cultures and ways of life.

To her, open-mindness - to people and to new things - is crucial. This is precisely what the Brazilian journalist brings to her team. At GOVET and throughout BIBB's International Vocational Education and Training Department, she finds an environment characterised by a global outlook and broad mindedness that constantly inspires and motivates her. For a world without borders.
