Dual VET: facts and figures

The more than 300 dual vocational training occupations in Germany offer young people individual career opportunities - and a solid basis for their life. The GOVET data sheet provides facts and figures on vocational education and training in Germany at a glance:

• The majority of the 15- to 24-year-olds is in a dual Training
• 90 % of the trainees successfully complete their dual Training
• 68% of trainees will be hired by their training company as employees after Training
• 95.3 % of all vocational training graduates are in employment

The GOVET data sheet is based on current analyses. Among other things, it was compiled on the basis of the BIBB Data Report on VET 2017. The datasheet is available in several languages and can be downloaded below.
